Die Schöpfung is a classical music piece for Chorus, 3 solo voices and Orchestra by Joseph Haydn. Haydn wrote this impressive composition in 1797 and 1798. The work describes the creation of the earth, as described in Genesis. The libretto was written by Gottfried van Swieten.
