The Ars Musica Orchestra is one of the new orchestra gems in our country. It makes music under the direction of Patrick van der Linden and focuses on classical music from Bach to the present.
The Ars Musica Orkest does not shy away from adventure. Thirty musicians play Mozart's 29 th Symphony standing and from memory, which requires guts and perseverance. You've never heard it performed like this before! In this work from 1774, the then 18-year-old Mozart demonstrates how he spreads his wings in symphonic music. He integrates everything he has heard so far into a sound miracle at its best. At the same time it is a typical Mozart piece: his individual symphonic voice sounds loud and clear.
Matthijs Koene, one of the most prominent and pioneering panflute players of our time, also likes to embark on the musical adventure. Matthijs Koene will shine in Mozart's First Flute Concerto .
